KIC started as a small mudguard wire assembly shop in 1976 in a major industrial city called Ludhiana in Punjab state (Northern India). The assembled parts were supplied to various wholesalers and retailers. With the advent of new bicycle designs, KIC developed a market driven approach and started trading in various other sectors such as bicycle carriers, saddles, tyres, inner tubes etc. Today, KIC supplies parts for a full bike under trade name “Hiker” to different states in India and to exporters. The current management is lead by Mr. Rajinder Singh, CEO of KIC. Mr. Singh has 35 years of experience in the bicycle industry. His diverse background in manufacturing and trading helps KIC understand customer requirements efficiently and supply high quality parts in a timely and orderly fashion. Mr. Singh was joined by his son Mr. Amanpreet Singh (Aman) in 1997 to achieve further growth and development. Backed by Bachelors degree in Arts and Management, Amanpreet has a sharp acumen and foresight which has resulted in a 5X growth within a 5 year period. KIC currently has 20 employees solely devoted towards procurement, quality inspection and timely dispatch. KIC also works directly with the transportation companies to save freight and other miscellaneous charges and pass on the savings to our valuable customers. With the motto of “Ride with Pride”, KIC is always working hard to exceed customer’s expectations. |
